The Sierra Leone River runs between Lungi where the International Airport is located and the city of Freetown. A ride on any of the water transports including the ferry, which takes approximately 45 minutes, is an experience in itself. The Ferry services operate from Government Wharf and Kissy Ferry Terminal to Targrin (Lungi) simultaneously. Make sure you exercise patience with the waiting time and the unexpected hustle and bustle at the Terminals where you board.
